Such a great event, rub elbows with amongst others, Christian Fuchs, just days before the opening event at his Hudson Sports Complex, a great guy we have intervied the last two years at the Steve Nash Foundation game. Former player for Commack Soccer Club who by the way was also in the MLS, and does some soccer on TV now, and ran for president of USSF,Kyle Martino with the best hair in the game. Not to mention Bradley Stuver and John Berman. The Jane Hotel is a historic site, located just off the West Side Hwy it was designed by the same man who did part of the Ellis Island Complex. It was used to house many of the survivors of the tragic Titanic, where I lost family, then to the YMCA, in the 80's & 90's it was a bohemians paradise, fell out of favor in the 90's and underwent a major renovation to restore it to its inital glory. SSUSA exists to hope those down on their luck, homeless etc. use soccer as a way of briging themselves back up and helping communities at large with professional coaches, and a grand event locally in Times Square with small sided games and many celebrities, corporations, soccer supporters etc partaking in the tourney.
