Though born in Ethiopia, he was reared in Israel, linking up with Beitar Jeerusalem in Jan of last year and was key in the turn of fortune for the team with 30 starts in 31 games. They were #11 last year and now have the #3 spot having taken the 2019-'20 Toto Cup Al in Sept. by way of a 2-0 win over the current champs, Maccabia Tel Aviv. The first 7.5 years of the pro career for Gadi had been with with FC Ashdod. He had come up throught their academy, then became a regular starter in the 2013-'14 season, including his firstĀ  goal in beating Maccabi Haifa in a 3-2 win on Sept. 2013. With Kinda, Ashdod was in the 2nd tier for the 2015-'16 year and promoted as they took the Liga Leumit crown with 27 Kinda starts and they took the league by 7 points. In the top level of Israeli soccer, Kinda hit for 7 goals and an equal # of assists then after 2.5 years, he was off to Beitar. He playd for his adopted Israel with their U-18,19 & 21 NTs. Getting time in the 2013 UEFA European U-19 Championships, then the 2015 & '17 UEFA U-21 Championship. He has not gotten his full men's team call up as yet but has been chosen for it in the UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying last fall.
