SOCCER FORWARD COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT EVENT BRINGS COMMUNITY, PROS, AND PURPOSE TO AUSTIN

ATLANTA (October 5, 2025) - Ahead of the U.S. Men’s National Team match in Austin on October 7, U.S. Soccer’s Soccer Forward initiative will host a Soccer Forward Community Spotlight Event in partnership with 4ATX Foundation. The event will spotlight 4ATX’s Verde Leaders program, which combines soccer with social-emotional learning, restorative practices, and mindfulness to help low-income youth thrive academically and personally.
The event will also celebrate a generous donation from the Ramirez family through Soccer Forward to support the Verde Leaders program over the next four years, furthering its mission to use the power of soccer to help communities thrive socially, emotionally, and physically.
