Those from the north will take on eachother, thrice locally in phase one, all shown in Canada on TSN & the half dozen of Montreal also onTVA Sports, in the states on ESPN+.
They are back at it on the 18th and are playing like this due to the border closing between the nations for non-essential travel until the 21st. They will follow the same protocols as here, athletes, coaching staff as well as essential team workers are to be tested every other day, and the day before a game, further guidlines are to be sent to these teams. Only chartered flights will be utilized by our neighbors, arriving game day and leaving after. As the Whitcaps are so far, they will make a road trip hitting Toronto for a pair of games the 18 & 21 then off to Montreal for the 25th. Not only are these games of course part and parcel of the 2020 MLS season, whatever teams takes the most points amongst them will then have also made it to the Canadian Championship Final, pitting them against the winer of the Canadia Premier League Island Games with 8 participants. The Voyagers Cup will be on the line and the spot in the CCL
