Rusty Oglesby name to USC BOD

Friday during their convention, United Soccr Coaches made it known that there is a new person on their Board of Directors, and has been appointed for the next 6 years, with the position of VP for the  four of these years, then one as President and the last as Immediate Past President.

Rusty stated " I'm truly honored to be the next Vice President of United Soccer Coaches. I'm looking forward to what the future holds for United Soccer Coaches and am excited for the opportunity to serve the membership."

Oglesby has been with the USC for the past 7 years and now is the HC for the boy's team at John Paul II HS, Plano TX and GM of NPSL team Denton Diablos of the NPSL. A HC for HS teams for 20 years, now he Chairs the USC HS Advocacy grroup, linked to it since it began in 2015. He coached in the environs of Dallas for 11 years and TASCO Pres. in 2014.

The USC Board is a 10 member group with 6 elected by membership, 3 at-large reps apptd. by the Pes & Advocacy Council Chair.

Locally, our good friend, Sue Ryan is the Advocacy Council Chair and Lynn Berling-Manuel is the CEO and non-voting member of the BOD. Nashville GM Mike Jacobs is a past president.
