- New England opened the scoring in the 16th minute. Defender Gabriel Dahlin slipped a through ball to forward Liam Butts who stuck a right footed shot into the top right corner of the net.
- New York leveled the match in the 33rd minute. Midfielder Dylan Sullivan took a lateral touch inside the box and was fouled by defender Keegan Hughes. Midfielder Ibrahim Kasule stepped up and converted his attempt into the bottom left corner.
- Revolution II regained the lead in the 44th minute. Midfielder Javaun Mussenden played a lateral pass from the top of the box to midfielder Marcos Dias who took a first time right footed shot into the bottom right corner.
- New England added a third in the 53rd minute. Dias bounced on a deflected ball in the box and placed a shot into the back of the net.

- Revolution II sealed the deal in the 79th minute. Forward Damorney Hutchinson curled a through ball to midfielder Gevork Diarbian who took two touches and laced a shot into the bottom left corner.
- Kasule scored his 28th career goal with the club and sixth of the season.
- With his 54th career start, Kasule passed Steven Sserwadda for sole position of second most-starts from a midfielder in team history.
