Relevent of International Champions Cup Fame link with La Liga

By Sean McCaffery, August 16, 2018

Earlier today, the 15 year partnership was announced for this one of a kind partnership. Under this union, La Liga will bring a regular season game a year to the States, a first for being out of Europe.

This agreement marks an interesting juncture for this, the world's most popular sport this side of the pond in that it is in the wake of a highly successful 2018 FIFA World Cup and part of the ramp up in North America for the 2026 version.

The sole rep for La Liga in the US & Canada is LaLiga North America, their task is to  support LaLiga as they grow in these nations with academies, training youth coaches, marketing, friendlies and this LaLiga match.

Stephen Ross Owner & Chair at Relevent had this to say, "This extraoridnary joint venture is the next giant leap in growing soccer's popularity in North America.

Relevent CEO, Danny SIllman who dealt direct with LaLiga on this transaction informed, "Combining LaLiga's long traditioin of excellence and unparalled international reputation with Revelent's expertise in this market will accelerate the growth and populairty of soccer in North America and LaLiga's global brand."

The Facebook page of Soccer Long Island Magazine has many photos of the ICC which just wrapped with our unprecedented access to 3 games and exclusive video with our special guest, accomodated by Charlie Stillitano of Relevent, George Brown in Philly. George was hosted as Steven Torres and I set him up with Relevent to be fully credentialed to the game featuring Juventus and Bayern Munich. Geroge and his father are the only father/son duo to be in the US Soccer Hall of Fame, with both having played for the USMNT. Below is George with Charlie.
