First home match, first home win. That's how you get things started.
The Red Bulls rang in their 2025 home season with a resounding 2-0 victory over Nashville. Ghanaian forward Mohammed Sofo made the most of his first league start, netting his first-ever MLS goal to open the scoring. Then, who else but the Captain Emil Forsberg to bury an absolute banger to double our lead? We're still watching that highlight on repeat. Carlos Coronel picked up his first clean sheet of the season as the likes of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Alexander Hack made their Sports Illustrated Stadium debuts.
But that wasn't everything. We unveiled a brand new prematch tradition as Kal Penn helped us send the Bulls. We enshrined our 2024 Eastern Conference title. And we said our official farewell to Ryan Meara, with help from club legends like Luis Robles, Mike Grella, and Connor Lade.
The boys are back on the road this weekend in Atlanta before coming home on March 15th for a matinee rematch of last year's Eastern Conference Final vs. Orlando. We'll see you then at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
