By Sean McCaffery, September 18, 2019

Last game there was more drama in the stands of the Timbers than on their field, has that turmoil passed, will it help the visitors grab so road points so dearly needed? The fun starts at 10:30 p.m. ET on MSG, MSG Go & New York Red Bulls Radio with pregame from 9:30 featuring Mark Harmon as Ernesto Motta handles the game in Espanol from 10. One, a name back from the original NASL the other an original of the MLS, they are matched up for just the 10th time in history and this the 5th time in Portland. NY has had some success there as they have taken points in 3 of the last 4 trips out there. Last visit was a 2-0 loss for NY as they utilized somewhat of  a patchwork lineup. NY is seeking to rebound from their 4-2 loss in Seattle where they trailed, tied, and let up an own goal. WIth an impressive 5-3-3 record on the year following a loss they have achived multi-goal games in more than half of such games, 6. Their goal differential sits at +4 in the games after dropping 3 points. NYRB had just had their 3rd, 3 loss in a row skid since 2006 with the game near the Space Needle. Sunday, Latino Heritage Night has them back home facing the Union at 6:20 p.m. ET on MSG, MSG GO & New York Red Bull Radio. See the Facebook of Soccer Long Island Magazine for video of interviews.
