HARRISON, N.J. (July 26, 2024) –The New York Red Bulls begin their 2024 Leagues Cup campaign on Saturday, July 27, with their first group stage match against Toronto FC at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English, Spanish, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

 

Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV begins at 8 p.m. ET. Callum Williams will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Calen Carr on the English side, Bruno Vain will have the play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Andres Agulla on the Spanish side. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7:30 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Toyota, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.

 

This will be the 44th overall meeting between New York and Toronto, with the Red Bulls leading the overall series with a 23-10-10 mark. New York have posted a 17-3-2 mark against Toronto FC at home in franchise history, including an eight-match unbeaten streak against Toronto FC at Red Bull Arena. The Red Bulls are currently on a 15-match home unbeaten streak across all competitions, which is the second longest streak in franchise history. New York posted a 2-0-1 mark in Leagues Cup matches at Red Bull Arena last season.

 

Forward Elias Manoel tallied his fourth MLS assist of the season in New York’s 3-1 win over FC Cincinnati on July 20. Manoel became the 11th forward in franchise history to record 10-plus goals and 10-plus assists for the Red Bulls. The forward has recorded four goal contributions in his career against Toronto FC, which includes goal in New York’s 3-0 win over Toronto on June 22.

 

Following Saturday’s match, New York will conclude Leagues Cup group stage play with a match against Pachuca on Tuesday, July 30 at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
