· Red Bull New York defeats Pittsburgh Riverhounds 3-1 on Wednesday night at Sports Illustrated Stadium to advance to the Round of 16 of the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. · New York opened the scoring in the 25th minute when midfielder Rafael Mosquera was fouled on the top of the box to draw a free kick. Midfielder Emil Forsberg stepped up and curled his attempt into the top right corner of the net. · The Red Bulls doubled their lead in the 28th minute.
