Long Island based HC Paul Riley is so happy to have Scott Vallow, Sean Nahas, Nathan Thackery, & Charlie Naimo return, stating, "The technical staff have been a huge part of our success. They understand the human elemet and their ability to communicate their knowledge has been huge. I tell them to be curious, to push the envelope. They make me a better coach, they push me out of my comfort zone." Heres hoping high praise gets them a higher pay day?

He got in a game and a pk goal at RBA last summer as the Potugese team dropped their game to a Ronaldo less Jueve side in pks. He is on a one year loan now as they hope for the 21 year old American to play either at the center of the midfield or in a more forward position.  The Plano player stated, "It's the best decision for me right now. It's first division soccer, it's good competition.

A well seasoned soccer professional at all levels, already enshrined in the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame, Nick has now joined the technical staff returning to Vancouver. Greg Anderson the 'Caps VP of Soccer Operations told "Nick is a highly regarded and engaged coach who is very invested in the development of Canadian players." He holds a UEFA Pro License and over 3 decades in the game, Canadian HoF 2011, MLS and Canadian National Team coaching experience. From Vancouver in 2002 he began with the national team program then the 'Caps as a player coach that same year. At MLS, he was an asst.

Amando Moreno a midfielder who has had some USMNT experience has been picked up in exchange for the 32nd pick in this most recent SuperDraft. As we had noted, the announcer had stated that the RBNY had a timeout before ever announcing that the trade of the pick had been done, see our photo below with the trade being in the works. The 23 year old midfielder  was with RBII in 2018 with 30 games for 11 goals and 4 assists, including the GWG to put them past FC Cincy in their last USL game.

This move brings the 2018 Canadian Youth International Player of the Year who had his first game with the senior side in 2018. Coming over from Serbian Side FK Javor Ivanjica, he has also played with German teams VIB Lubeck & VIR Neurmunster. Vancouver HC, Marco Dos Santos informed "Derek is one of the top young players in a new generation of Canadian talent."  He is with the 'Caps signed for 2 years and options for 2021 & 2022, once his paperwork is finalized he will join the roster. This marks the 5th addition to the squad since Marc took the wheel just in Nov. From Ajax Ont.
