The German had been a pro as a defender with a stellar 16 year career. Now he will work being involved in all levels of soccer operations for the Fire, reporting to Sporting Director the newly installed Georg Geitz.
Pelzer informed "I'm looking forward to joining Chicago Fire FC. I will do my best to help in every way that I can."
