MLS team DC United and USL side Richmond Kickers now continue with their official pairing now in its 6th year along with the 2013 deal with their leagues. As of now GK Travis Worra and Bolivian international Bruno Mirnada go to Richmond. The defender started 62 of 70 games for the Huskies getting 10 assists and one goal, earning a 2nd team All Far-West Region and Honorable Mention All- Pacific 12 conf. honors last year to go with having spent some time at the US Soccer Residency Program in Fl in 2011. The season has begun but DC United is harldy done adding players, Joseph Mora arrives on a permanent transfer. The 25 year old had one goal and 2 assists over 83 games during which time they earned 2 Costa Rican Invierno Titles. DC HC, Dave Kasper is happy to have settled the transaction, feeling they now have a skilled defender who has great qualities heading their way, bringing with him a lot of history of first team and international games. Joseph began in LD Alajuelense Academy then on to top league team Guadalupe on July 1, 2011 debuting Apr. 8, 2012 a 4-2 loss with Saprissa.read
Sporting KC had almost 21,000 of their faithful go home unhappy as they dropped a 2-0 decision to the boys in blue. All 4 cards including a red to Chanot in the 88 minute mark went to NYCFC. This was the first opening loss for SKC since 2009 quite a run and in front of a sold out Children's Mercy Park, this one just their 3rd ever loss in a home opener.
