There were a pair of recent incidents in the just completed Leagues Cup, both involving Miami that have given me cause for concern as to their rules, NOT the Laws of the Game. Their coach was dismissed from a game, went to the stands, as he may yet it seemed he was on the phone with staff. It was mentioned by others, attibuted to the Cup, that was an allowable action. More recent and worse was the Battle Royale following the final. Nothing has come out on it as yet. In being a former ref, this is rather concerning, the punishments should have been swift and strong.
readIn a recent email, a team won a game 2-0, yet the headline to the email stated they lost 3-0? This is a team where though I do not agree with many of their restrictions on press, tend to get things correct. This is a terrible error that went uncorrected in a follow up email. I am beyond done with letting the teams know of such things as they are typically not addressed or even acknowledged by them.
