An email went out well under 24 hours in advance, yes, again, it was in fact barely 18 hours pre event for a press conference. There were very few media on it, actually only a trio of us had questions for those attending. Why does this happen, in Real Estate, I get notices on things well in advance, then a few more as the day draws near. They know they do them one or two days ahead of a game, know the times training should end, players shower and get in front of the camera. Coach is typically in on them as is a player to be named.
