HARRISON, N.J. (April 4, 2025) – The New York Red Bulls (2-2-2, 8 pts.) battle Chicago Fire FC (3-1-2, 11 pts.) on Saturday, April 5 for Autism Acceptance at Sports Illustrated Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish, and New York Red Bulls Radio presented by Sports Illustrated in English via the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

 

Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Callum Williams will have primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Calen Carr on the English side, while Alejandro Figueredo will have the play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Tony Cherchi on the Spanish side. New York Red Bulls Radio presented by Sports Illustrated begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Toyota, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.

 

This will be the 70th overall regular season meeting between New York and Chicago, with the Fire holding the series advantage with a 32-21-16 mark. The Red Bulls will be seeking their first victory against the Fire since April 30, 2022, with New York posting a 0-2-3 mark in their last five MLS regular season matches against Chicago. New York have begun the 2025 season with a 2-0-1 mark at Sports Illustrated Stadium, including a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC in their last home match, which saw captain Emil Forsberg scored his third-career multi-goal MLS match. Chicago enters the match on a three-game road winning streak, which includes victories at FC Dallas, Toronto FC, and Vancouver Whitecaps.

 

New York forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting recorded his second MLS goal of the season in the Red Bulls match against New England Revolution on Saturday, March 29. Choupo-Moting has recorded a goal contribution in three-straight matches, including a goal contribution in back-to-back matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium. The Cameroon international will be seeking his first career appearance against the Chicago Fire FC.

 

Following Saturday’s match, New York heads to Inter&Co Stadium to take on Orlando City SC on Saturday, April 12.
