HARRISON, N.J. (February 21, 2025) – The New York Red Bulls head to TQL Stadium on Saturday, February 22 to open up their 30th season in franchise history against FC Cincinnati. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

 

Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Chris Wittyngham will have primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Lori Lindsey on the English side, while Diego Pessolano will have the play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Daniel Chapela on the Spanish side. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Toyota, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.

 

This will be the 14th overall regular season meeting between New York and Cincinnati, with the Red Bulls holding the series advantage with a 7-3-3 mark. The Red Bulls have posted a 4-0-1 mark against FC Cincinnati on the road, including a 3-0-1 mark at TQL Stadium. New York have tallied a 3-1-1 mark in their last five MLS regular season matches against FC Cincinnati. This will be the 30th season in franchise history for New York and they have a mark of 13-10-6 in season opening matches. The Red Bulls won 2-1 in their last trip to TQL Stadium on April 6, 2024, where New York Captain Emil Forsberg tallied the game-winning assist.

 

Midfielder Lewis Morgan is entering his fourth season with New York, after leading the team in goals scored last year with 13. This was his second career double-digit goal scoring season for the club, which ranks tied for second for the most by a midfielder in franchise history. Morgan has recorded four goals and four assists in eight career-matches against FC Cincinnati, including a brace in the last time the club’s met on July 20, 2024, at Sports Illustrated Stadium.

 

Following Saturday’s match, New York will host Nashville SC in their 2025 MLS home opener at Sports Illustrated Stadium on Saturday, March 1.
