Preview: Fire take on Loons, St. Patricks Day

The Fire, winless over their first game take on the Loons undefeated thus far for their inital away game of the season. Last year in their only meeting, MInnesota took the game 2-1 at Toyota Park on Aug. 26. Fire backstop Patrick McLain was with the Loons in 2017 getting in an US Open Cup match. Loons sporting director, Manny Lagos played for the Fire seeing action in 10 games over the '98-'99 season, their director of player personell Amos Magee played 8 times in the '01-'02 seasons, netting a goal in extra time during their '02 Open Cup victory.  Minesota's net minder,Matt Lampson was with the FIre in the last 2 seasons with 42 games with the team record of 412 scoreless minutes runing from Mar. 11-Apr. 16 2016.
