  • The New York Red Bulls (3-1-1, 10 pts.) defeated New England Revolution (1-3-1, 4 pts.), 1-0, on Saturday Night at Gillette Stadium.
  • New York opened the scoring in the 90th minute, when forward Ashley Fletcher played a low driven cross inside New England’s eighteen-yard box and the ball deflected off New England defender Matt Polster to give the Red Bulls the lead.
  • The Red Bulls won their first three road matches of the season for the first time in franchise history.
  • New York are the only 3-0-0 team on the road in MLS.
  • Red Bulls goalkeeper Carlos Coronel recorded his first clean sheet of the season after recording 13 last season. This was his 15th career MLS clean sheet.
