New York Red Bulls Announce End of Year Roster Decisions
Thank you NYRB Commnications:

I

Harrison, N.J. (December 1, 2021) - The New York Red Bulls announced today end of year roster decisions following the conclusion of the 2021 season. The Red Bulls have exercised options on six players and declined the options on six, with five players out of contract. An additional 12 players are already under contract for next season.
The Red Bulls have exercised options on goalkeepers Ryan Meara and A.J. Marcucci, defender Aaron Long and midfielders Wiki Carmona and Omir Fernandez.
New York has exercised an option to purchase goalkeeper Carlos Coronel.
Following the trade with FC Cincinnati in April, Frankie Amaya signed a three-year MLS contract that will go into effect for 2022.
The club declined options on goalkeeper Luca Lewis, defenders Mandela Egbo and Issiar Dramé and forwards Fábio, Matias Jorgensen and Daniel Royer.
Defender Kyle Duncan and midfielder Sean Davis are out of contract.

I do of course take issue with some of these moves, I mean, why not right? Royer, injured but still a leader, needs to be accounted for, is he well now? will he be like BWP and still keep playing and well? might he finish out his time back in Austria?, head t Charlotte with fellow Austrian Christian Fuchs, who knows. Time will tell. Locking down Coronel, a great move, may have been he team MVP.  Keeping Amaya great, utilize him better. I think Fabio should have bewn held onto, but sending him high balls with his height, but slight build did not go so well, a very creative skillful player. Gutman, many liked him, I saw him exposed often and that is not good on the back line at all. Edwards never really did it for me, Davis best be back, he is still doing things in their early off season in the team's name , wishing his parents the best in their health issues.  Other than Marcucci, I am good with those they exercised their options on. Bear in mind, anyone at this time not retained with the possible exception of Duncan, may be retained, not using an option solely means you are not doing the pre-arranged compensation package, yes, you no longer hold their rights, but oft times they are resigned for less. Now, let's see who they bring in.
