New York Red Bulls Announce 2024 Regular Season Schedule & Theme Nights
HARRISON, N.J. (December 20, 2023) – The New York Red Bulls and Major League Soccer announced today the club’s 2024 regular season schedule. The 2024 MLS season will feature a full 34-match schedule leading up to Decision Day on Saturday, October 19. The Red Bulls have also announced their theme nights for the 2024 season.
All of the New York Red Bulls matches in 2024 will be broadcasted on the MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
New York will begin their season on the road for the third-straight season, opening with Nashville SC on Sunday, February 25, 2024. It will be the 16th time in franchise history where New York have begun their season on the road. The Red Bulls home opener presented by Oanda will be held on March 9, 2024, against FC Dallas, which will be the team’s first meeting since 2022.
Of the remaining 32 matches, New York will have five back-to-back home matches. In their second home match of the season, the Red Bulls will host Inter Miami CF on March 23 at Red Bull Arena, with kickoff set for 2 p.m. ET. The Red Bulls will host Vancouver Whitecaps at Red Bull Arena for College Night on Saturday, April 27 for the first time since 2019 and New York will travel to DICK’S Sporting Goods Park for the first time since May 12, 2018.
New York will have five midweek matches, twice at home and three on the road. The remaining schedule will see 28 Saturday matches and one Sunday game. The Red bulls will play a home-and-home series with all 14 Eastern Conference opponents with the remaining six games against Western Conference teams evenly split, three on the road and three at home.
The Red Bulls will play cross-town rivals NYCFC twice, once at Red Bull Arena and once at Citi Field. The first edition of the New York Derby will be held at Citi Field, Saturday, May 18. The Red Bulls are 4-0-0 against NYCFC in the month of May. The rivalry will continue Saturday, September 28 at Red Bull Arena.
New York will host defending 2023 MLS Cup champions Columbus Crew for Decision Day on Saturday, October 19.
The Red Bulls will be bringing out new theme nights for the 2024 season, which includes Bark Night, Kids Night Under 12, and Drone Show. New York also will bring back notable theme nights such as Marvel Night, Star Wars Night, and Noche Latina.
