HARRISON, N.J. (March 1, 2024) –The New York Red Bulls (0-0-1, 1 pts.) will travel to Shell Energy Stadium for the first time since 2019 to face off against Houston Dynmao FC (0-0-1, 1 pts.). Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

 

Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV begins at 8:30 p.m. ET. Callum Williams will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Calen Carr on the English side, while Raul Guzman will have the play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Carlos Ruiz on the Spanish side. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 8 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.

 

This will be the 28th overall meeting between New York and Houston, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage with a 12-6-9 mark. The Red Bulls have posted a 2-6-5 mark in Houston with their last win at Houston coming in 2013. New York faced off against Houston last season at Red Bull Arena, where they tied 1-1 on April 15, 2023. New York are currently on a five-match MLS regular season road unbeaten streak that dates back to September 16, 2023. The Dynamo recorded a 1-1 draw against Sporting KC in their 2024 MLS season opener.

 

Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel recorded his 31st career MLS shutout with the Red Bulls in the club’s 0-0 draw against Nashville SC on Sunday. Coronel has now posted 14 shutouts on the road in his MLS career. The Paraguayan goalkeeper has recorded three straight MLS regular season clean sheets – the shutouts came against Toronto FC on October 7, 2023 and two against Nashville SC on October 21, 2023 and Sunday.

 

 

Following Saturday’s match, New York will host FC Dallas for their 2024 home opener presented by OANDA on Saturday, March 9 at Red Bull Arena.
