NYRB II Have a New Player

Creighton product Lucas Stauffer has inked a deal on an USL contract with the team earlier this week. A major player over his 4 years at Creighton he was in 66 games with 9 goals and 12 assists. Picked in the MLS Superdraft by the Whitecaps he is now more than pleased to be with NY. "Being able to sign my first professional contract with a club with such a rich history is honestly a dream come true" Lucas informed and continued "I had a a fantastic meeting with the club at the 2018 MLS Combine." A selection to the All-Big East team for his second straight year in 2017 and a USC All-Great Lake Region 2nd player, he was also a 2014 Big East Conference All-Rookie team selection. John Wolyniec on the player who plays both fullback and midfield, "We're excitded to have Lucas join us. We value his skillset at both outside back spots."
