On whether a change in competition can reset the team mentally... “We have to take into account that we've played a few decent matches in the recent stretch, but losing the points was the end result of those games. So we have to get back to ourselves and make sure that we play our games properly but also get the points from winning these games. And [U.S Open Cup] is a perfect opportunity, because you need to win in order to proceed to the next round, and that is what we're focusing on.”
On team mentality during a difficult run of results... “The guarantees in life you never have, as the game has shown as well, because you could have a good stretch in the beginning of the season, you could have multiple situations that we've dealt with in the previous year as well, but it gives no guarantee that you will do exactly the same going into the new season. We have to be aware of the fact that we have to work really, really hard in order to get our games going our way, playing the way we want to play, and we can't take our foot off the gas in whatever situation.”
