The first part of preseason will be spent in the mideast by the club from NYC. Jan. 29 will see them off to this preseason training camp featuring games with FC Copenhagen on Feb. 3 & Sweden's top club AIK, Feb. 8, this marks their 2nd sojurn to the UAE capital city. Sporting Dir. Claudio Reyna had these comments, "This preseason will challange our team in many different ways." HC Domenec Torrent added, "Our players will benefit greatly from these tests early on in the preseason." FC Copenhagen is the top club in Danish football history, 12 domestic titles & 8 Dansih Cups, making either the Champions League or Europa League each year since 2011. AIK now have 12 domenstic championships to their credit and 8 Danish Cups. SInce 1891 they have the most seasons at the top level in their nation, making European play in the last 5 years, including the upcoming UEFA Champions League. While there, NYCFC players will interact with their local fans and do events etc. with NYCFC Principal partner, Ethiad Airways for new content to release during the season.
