Now MLS is Really Back

By Sean McCaffery, August 12, 2020

FIrst order of business, MLS wise, a massive congrats to the Portland Timbers on their title last night. Giovnni Saverese with his staff and to no suprise had his players ready and raring to go. Oscar Pareja and his charges put up a most valiant fight, but I feel in the end the better team did in fact win and they were by far the more experienced team in such big games. The man in the middle did an admirable job, yes he missed some, as all always will, but it was officiated very fair, consistent and he handled the players well. Whatever happened with Pareja and a player from the other team, I cannot say, I have always held coaches and players of other teams should not interact, his players will overeact to it as should the other coach, just not a good thing.

FC Dallas & Nashville SC, said to be the new home of Alex Muyl of NYC will re start the season at 8:30 p.m. ET on MLS LIVE, ESPN+, MLS LIVE on DAZN, Texas 21 & MyTV30. They will play eachother a lot in the near future, including back-to-back, Sunday is next, as both bowed out of the MIB games due to many positive Covid tests, we hope and trust that all are well now.

Did you feel the breeze, the FIFA window just opened today, and things are happening already. From RB Salzburg to RBNY goes forward Samuel Tettehon a loan, as mentioned it has been mentioned that Muyl is headed to Music City for a duo of international slots, might RBNY finally be opening the purse strings? In goes Pirlo, out goes Higuain to another Galaxy, LA?
