- Chinese capital CMC invested $400 million USD in Manchester City.
- Alibaba E-Auto signed as the Presenting Partner of the FIFA Club World Cup.
- Wanda Group became the Top Sponsor of FIFA.
Co-organized by Sport8, World Soccer Congress 2016 will take place June 1-3 at Pullman Shanghai Skyway. Worldwide soccer elites will gather in Shanghai and discuss potential opportunities in the background of China's soccer reform.

Rocco Amoroso may not have been large in stature, but he was a giant in the soccer community!
He coined the phrase, "Building Character through Soccer" as a part of his Sportsmanship initiative that has spread across America.
For those that knew him or spent time with him, he always made time to say hello and always had a moment to share a kind word.
He was a gentleman of the sport of soccer and a friend to many including me and Soccer Long Island Magazine.
