Now i must admit that after spending a good deal of time with Technical Director Fernando Clavijo last moth in Philadelphia at the United Soccer Coaches Convention and not catching wind of this I am saddened but it is a great thing. Monday it was announced that the two FC's have come together in a partnership affording players the opportunities in their professional academies to have a pathway to the beautiful game in the US and Germany. This venerable European powerhouse and founding member of MLS now have a synergy and will exchange talent, offering players exposure to the different coaching styles and setting to add to their journey. This will be the first international office for Bayern, drawing on the seriousness of their efforts in the Americas They seek to assist in the growth of soccer here and exisiting player development, with Dallas being the ideal partner.
These teams will join in coaching, trading expertise, helping to develop national teams players not limited to Thomas Muller, Mats Hummels, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Kellyn Acosta, a thrill I bet for Kellyn who we interviewd this summer to be mentioned with those other players. Also paved is now the chance for each acadmy to face the other, Dallas has one of the better academies in the US. Dallas is happy to make this partnership and and aid their goals of creating an academy and club to compete at the highest of levels world wide. A pioneering union with a top club worlldwide is a big step for Dallas and they anticipate intimate connections with the great minds at Bayern.
Dallas personell will be utilizing the FC Bayern Campus that we already brohgt you images and details on when it opened in August, the state of the art facility again has 8 fields, a multi purpose sports hall, youth academy and clubhouse to go with offices on its 74 acres. The unprecedented linking of two historic teams, leaders in player development has Bayern happy with their alliance as Dallas have begun what they stated as pioneering soccer in the states, Dallas is at the top with large grassroots inways to line up with those that Bayern have made of late. December saw 3 homegrown Dallas players go to Munich having the same training experience as the top players for Bayern.
Bayern since 2014 has been involved in the states with its local partner Global Premier Soccer they have reached over 90,000 players 1,000 coaches and 11 clubs in 22 states.
