Since joining NYCFC in Feb. of 2017, Sweat has more than made his presence felt, the player and club alike are happy about the renewal. Now in Jacksonville with the team he is in his home state for sometime where he first garnered his NYCFC deal after a tremendous trial in 2017.
With 26 appearances in the regular season and creating 6 assists and his inital goal netted in the Hudson River Derby with RBNY during the away win in July, the hopes of more points this season are high. 60% of all votes for Goal of the Season went to his header in Nov. From Head Coach Vieira to Sporting Director Cladio Reyna all are happy with his return to the fold.
