Red Bull New York II Acquire Malian Midfielder Sekou Kone on Loan from Yeelen Olympique

HARRISON, N.J. (February 4, 2025)- Red Bull New York II have acquired Malian midfielder Sekou Kone on a one-year loan from Yeelen Olympique through the 2026 season pending visa and registration approval, the club announced today.

“Sekou is a strong box to box midfielder that is strong in getting forward through his dribbling and passing abilities,” Head Coach Dominik Wohlert said. “He is a midfielder that creates chances and we look forward to adding him to our squad.”

The 18-year-old midfielder is a product of the Yeelen Olympique Academy.
