Last week, the New York Cosmos finally returned to the pitch as players reported to preseason training, marking the first step toward our debut season in USL League One.
With practice underway, the squad is hard at work building fitness, chemistry and identity as it prepares for a historic year.
The opening sessions set the tone for what lies ahead. Although the faces are new, the standards are high and there is a collective commitment to doing the work required to compete from day one.

All of this builds toward opening night.
On March 14, the Cosmos will open the 2026 USL League One season at Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, NJ. 
It will be the first match of a new era, and a night that connects the club’s past, present and future.
