NEW YORK CITY FC HEAD COACH PASCAL JANSEN
Thoughts on the Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs... “I realize we’re very fortunate to be part of the playoffs this season. The MLS season in the [Eastern Conference] has been very intense and interesting. The top nine [teams] were close until [Decision Day]. Experiencing that and now the playoffs is something I could only dream of as a coach coming into MLS. My own toolbox as a coach has been [greatly] filled throughout the season as well.”
On what to expect from the home fans in Game 2 in the Round One Best-of-3 Series... “Now they’re coming to our crib, as [Defender] Tayvon [Gray] mentioned, in The Bronx. It’s going to be electric. What I’ve seen over the [course of the] season is that when we play in The Bronx, it’s intense, but that’s how it should be, and we enjoy that. Hopefully the atmosphere will be there, the fans will go crazy for the team, and we’ll get the job done.”
