MATCH PREVIEW: BURNLEY V CARDIFF CITY
Clarets in Carabao Cup action against the Bluebirds
Burnley are back at Turf Moor for the third consecutive game, as Scott Parker's side host Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup third round.
The Clarets head into round three looking to build on what was another positive result in the Premier League on Saturday against Nottingham Forest.
The cup tie will give Parker the opportunity to rotate his side and hand more match minutes to those around the squad, before Burnley head to the Etihad on Saturday.
Cardiff meanwhile travel to Lancashire having booked their place in round three with a win over Cheltenham Town in the previous round.

The opposition
Cardiff City arrive at Turf Moor looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the 2025/26 season, after the Bluebirds lost 3-1 to Bradford City on Saturday.
Brian Barry-Murphy's men, who currently sit fourth in the Sky Bet League One table and three points off top spot, will be aiming to mark an instant return to the Championship after relegation last season.
Away from league football, Cardiff will be aiming to continue their Carabao Cup journey, after beating Swindon Town in the opening round back in August. City then cruised past Cheltenham Town in the last round, teeing up a third round meeting with Scott Parker's side.
The Welsh side have not won at Turf Moor in any competition since 1988, winless in their previous 17 trips to Lancashire.
