U21S PREVIEW: BURNLEY V LEEDS UNITED
Young Clarets return to Turf Moor
Burnley U21s will take to the Turf Moor pitch for the first time this season on Friday night, with Leeds United providing the opposition in Premier League 2.
The young Clarets head into the match on the back of an impressive 3-2 victory at Liverpool on Bank Holiday Monday.
Andy Farrell’s side went behind early on courtesy of an unfortunate own goal but never gave up, with strikes from Kian McMahon-Brown and Manuel Benson putting them ahead.
Liverpool’s Kieran Morrison then rounded off a rapid counterattack to restore parity, but young striker McMahon-Brown’s composed finish soon afterwards earned Burnley all three points.
After just two matches Farrell’s team sit 14th in the 29-team table.

Leeds United have made an identical start to their campaign, winning one and losing the other of their two matches to date.
After an emphatic 3-0 victory at Aston Villa on the opening weekend, the Whites hosted Ipswich Town last weekend but were beaten 3-2.
Harry Gray, the younger brother of Tottenham Hotspur’s Archie, opened the scoring at Thorp Arch but Ipswich fought back to lead 2-1.
Centre-back Alfie Cresswell restored parity for the Yorkshire outfit, but Ipswich found a late winner to take all three points back to Suffolk.
The young Clarets had a formidable record at Turf Moor last season, winning all three of their matches there by an aggregate score of 11-1.
Friday's match is a 7pm kick-off in BB10. Burnley season ticket holders and members can claim a complimentary ticket in advance of matchday by clicking HERE.
