NEW YORK CITY & MEXICO CITY (August 29, 2025) - Leagues Cup Organizing Committee today announced the Leagues Cup Disciplinary Committee decisions following the Semifinals, played on August 27, 2025.
- In the 83rd minute of the Seattle Sounders FC vs. LA Galaxy match, Seattle Sounders player Nouhou Tolo was issued a red card for committing serious foul play. In accordance with article 4.2.C of the Leagues Cup 2025 Competition Regulations, the Disciplinary Committee has issued a one-match suspension to Nouhou. He will serve the one-match suspension associated with his red card during the Leagues Cup Final match on August 31 against Inter Miami CF.
- In the 75th minute of the Inter Miami CF vs Orlando City SC match, Orlando City player David Brekalo was issued a red card for receiving two yellow cards. In accordance with the article 4.2.C of the Leagues Cup 2025 Competition Regulations, the Disciplinary Committee has issued a one-match suspension to Brekalo. He will serve the one-match suspension associated with his red card during Leagues Cup Third Place match on August 31 against the LA Galaxy.
- At the end of the match of the Inter Miami CF vs Orlando City SC match, Orlando City player Robin Jansson was issued a red card for verbally insulting the referees and/or match officials. In accordance with the article 4.2.C of the Leagues Cup 2025 Competition Regulations, the Disciplinary Committee has issued a one-match suspension to Jansson. He will serve the one-match suspension associated with his red card during the Leagues Cup Third Place match on August 31 against the LA Galaxy.
