HARRISON, N.J. (July 25, 2025) – The New York Red Bulls (9-9-6, 33 pts.) head to Soldier Field on Saturday, July 26 to take on Chicago Fire FC (9-9-5, 32 pts.). Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish, and New York Red Bulls Radio presented by Sports Illustrated in English via the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

 

Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV begins at 8:30 p.m. ET. Callum Williams will have primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Kyndra de St Aubin on the English side, while Oscar Salazar will have the play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Jamie Macias on the Spanish side. New York Red Bulls Radio presented by Sports Illustrated begins at 8 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Toyota, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.

 

This will be the 71st regular season meeting between New York and Chicago, with the Fire holding the series advantage with a 32-22-16 mark. The Red Bulls have posted two results in their last three trips to Solider Field. New York defeated Chicago, 2-1, on April 5 at Sports Illustrated Stadium, which saw goals from forwards Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Serge Ngoma. Chicago has posted a 2-3-0 mark in their last five MLS home matches.

 

Captain Emil Forsberg has recorded six goal contributions in his last five MSL appearances. Forsberg has tallied an assist in back-to-back matches and now leads the club with seven assists this year. The Swedish international has scored 18 MLS goals in first two years with the club, which ranks second place in franchise history for most goals scored by a midfielder in their first two MLS seasons.

 

Following Saturday’s match, New York will kick off their 2025 Leagues Cup group stage play, when they face off against Chivas Guadalajara on Thursday, July 31 at Sports Illustrated Stadium.
