On the match…

I would say, when you missed the basics, then it's not possible to win against Philly. And Philly was, especially in their counter press, very well. And they were very sharp after second ball, then directly deep. And we lost so many times the ball and it starts the first five, six minutes when we have the transition moments when we are passing back and then not sharp enough, not to have the right focus at the beginning and  then it's difficult. Set pieces they overload the situation on the far post. We didn't adapt the positions. The second goal, which you can see was with 10 players. Then second half was better. But we need more in our basics. We need more in our intensity. We need more in the duels, one against one, two against one to create two against one situations to have overload situation and then to be very aggressive. That's the part, and Philly did it, especially in the first half, very well, and we missed it.

On areas for improvement…

For me is, to be honest, it's not a tactical point in the first half. We changed then a little bit for the second half. From the mental side we were not ready. That was the problem and then, of course, then you can see the first goal. The second goal was 10 players. It was a little bit unlucky in this moment. But you have to be ready. You have to be sharp when you have the ball to play forward and when you use too many touches, and then it's clear counter press of Philly was very well. And then when we are using too many touches, then it's more easier for the opponent, and they want directly the ball and clear transition moments then from Philly, and that's it. And this is then, especially in our basic behavior. It was not good. First half was not good in our counter press, our reactions, everything in our basic everything in our basic behavior, what we need for our game to be sharp, to defend all together, not only one, two players then and to look okay hopefully he's winning the duel? No, not to hope that your teammate is winning the duel. No, you have to support each other, and also then to coach each other, to push each other. This is what you need for these games, especially against Philly.

On regrouping for the next match…

I mean for me now, it is not too much about soccer, it is about being there for each other. It is our home field, home turf, we have to show up and just have this intensity, win every duel and play forward. We need to be strong, be fast, so I mean just show up and be 110-percent ready for that game. It does not have to be beautiful but I want, we want everybody to be at 100-percent and win that game. We need to win that game, simple as that.

On the frustration of the match…

Yeah, of course. It is frustrating, it is a game, that is a rivalry game, so we want to win, of course. It is frustrating but it is part of soccer, next time we want to win and we need to win.
