Honolulu, HI — In just over four weeks, the U.S. Men’s Senior National Soccer Team (Over 40) will return to the international stage, competing in its first Senior World Cup campaign in over six years. The tournament will take place June 1–7 in Pattaya, Thailand, drawing elite veteran teams from across the globe.
The 2025 Senior World Cup ill feature a highly competitive lineup of nations, including reigning champions England, as well as Iran, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Matches will be held across two premier venues: Nongprue Municipality Stadium and Laem Chabang Stadium.
Led by Head Coach David Jones, a veteran of international soccer and a driving force behind the team’s revival, the U.S. squad enters the tournament with renewed determination and one of its strongest rosters to date.
“This is the most competitive U.S. Senior Team ever assembled,” said Coach Jones. “We’ve built a squad with balance, experience, and hunger. The players understand the opportunity in front of them, and we’re heading to Thailand to make a serious impact.”
Beyond competition, the team will also participate in cultural and community events throughout the week, reflecting the tournament’s emphasis on friendship, respect, and global unity among veteran athletes.
The U.S. delegation will depart from Honolulu on May 29 and return June 9, following a five-day training camp at YMCA Honolulu beginning May 25. The team’s journey, updates, and match coverage will be shared at http://www.usmsnt.com
