Hofstra with a Big Game

November 21, 2024-The Hofstra University men’s soccer team, with six players on the roster who grew up playing in the 
Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA), has had another outstanding season.
 
For the second consecutive year and the second time in program history, the Pride has received a national seed in the NCAA Championship and a first round bye. Hofstra, who is making their fourth consecutive NCAA appearance, earned the #7 seed and will face the winner of the Vermont/Iona first round matchup on Sunday, November 24 at 5 p.m. at Captains Field on Hofstra’s campus in Hempstead. 
 
“Very pleased to have another successful season, to be conference champions and to be in the NCAA tournament once again,” longtime Hofstra men’s soccer coach Richard Nuttall stated. “We’re counting on the Long Island and New York City soccer communities to come out to Hofstra on Sunday to be our 12th man and cheer us on to victory.”

Tickets are available and being sold at https://hofstra.universitytickets.com/w/ by phone at (516) HOF-TIXX, or in person at the Hofstra Athletics Box Office in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex during regular business hours. Prices are $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under, senior citizens plus students with a school ID.
