SUSA acquires Coastal Sports Hauppauge & Coastal Soccer
Commack , NY –SUSA Soccer announced today that it has acquired the Coastal Indoor Sports facility located in Hauppauge Long Island, and Coastal Soccer, the soccer training business with satellite training programs at clubs across Long Island. SUSA has been very active in the past few weeks assembling one of the most formidable soccer training and academy programs in New York. SUSA management is also poised to announce a significant outdoor footprint to support the demands of their recently announced multiple club affiliation with North Babylon Soccer Club, Harborfields Soccer Club, Commack Soccer League, Northport Cow Harbor Soccer Club, Elwood Soccer Club, and Kings Park Soccer Club.
SUSA Soccer management expects the acquisition to expand their reach and consolidation efforts in the local youth soccer market. The additions of both the indoor space in Hauppauge now named SUSA Sports Hauppauge, and what was formerly called Coastal Soccer now falling under the umbrella of SUSA Soccer training having a significant footprint in Nassau County, in addition to SUSA’s existing Lindenhurst bubble location makes SUSA Soccer the largest soccer organization on Long Island.
The acquisition will allow SUSA to run indoor programming at both their Lindenhurst and now Hauppauge facilities simultaneously. The Hauppauge facility will continue to host many of their previous tenants and programming including one of the Island’s largest indoor winter leagues.
“The acquisition of Coastal indoor Sports and Coastal soccer training is another stepping stone in the right direction for SUSA Soccer and youth sports on Long island. We are doing things differently by first providing the infrastructure to our teams and alliance clubs, and second, working hand in hand with established community clubs in order to create a true pathway to player development on long Island through SUSA Soccer. Our vision is to create an elite platform for player development second to none with state of the art facilities all across the island and an accredited and dedicated coaching staff who coach and train for a living. We are VERY excited about the future of soccer on Long Island.” – Moussa Sy, Director of Coaching, SUSA Soccer
About SUSA Soccer
The SUSA Soccer Academy program is an alternative to the frustrating shortfalls in soccer development displayed by most young players. This void is heavily influenced by coaching quality and the pressures to win at critical periods in the development process. Bridging the gap between club/travel soccer and school ball, SUSA selects a small group of players, male and female, aged 9-17 for each of its Academy teams, who will be professionally trained and coached in a challenging but fun environment.
At SUSA we are committed to the development of our players’ love for the game and their development. Academy players can test their abilities against other soccer athletes who come from different clubs and teams, who have EQUAL or BETTER soccer abilities. The passion for the game and the commitment from each Academy Player makes our environment unique and the SUSA experience exceptional.
- Professional Level Training & Coaching
- Challenging yet fun curriculum
- Increased exposure to a greater variety of players
- Excellent competition environment focused on achieving full playing potential
Professional training in a high level environment is the main focus of this program. Our players will train and compete with some of the best athletes in their age groups. SUSA Academy teams will train year around, filling in the gaps between School and Club teams, and compete against top age-level teams from across the nation without interrupting school ball or club involvement.
Our coaching methodology is aimed at developing soccer technique and game intelligence through both simple and complex game situations. It is soccer education through actual play instead of instruction through drills. Each player who experiences the SUSA Soccer Training method will develop a wisdom that goes beyond drills. SUSA Academy players will have both the game vision and physical skills necessary to succeed at an elite level.
