The 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup Continues this Weekend
The Kansas City Current and Houston Dash meet as the 2022 Challenge Cup continues play in its group stage on Friday night. In their only previous meeting this year, the Current left Houston with all three points after a 3-0 win behind goals from Taylor Leach, Kristen Hamilton and Lo’eau LaBonta. Now, Kansas City welcomes the Dash to Children’s Mercy Park in hopes of continuing its good form to stay at the top of its group. Meanwhile, Houston will seek to turn its fortunes around having dropped its last two matches.
