Launched in September 2020, Ligue 1 Touch aims to unite fans around the world to promote Ligue 1 Uber Eats and its clubs in territories strategic to its development.
From January 8 to 17, 2022, Ligue 1 Uber Eats staged events at nine 5-a-side football centers managed by Sofive, establishing a presence in five different states (New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and California).
For ten days, these Sofive centers were decked in the colors of Ligue 1 Uber Eats: all the matches of the 20th and 21st rounds, and in particular the match between Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain were broadcast there, the league trophy was displayed at one of the centers and all of the events were enhanced with contests and quizzes celebrating Ligue 1 Uber Eats.
In total, more than 65,000 people were connected to Ligue 1 Uber Eats, its clubs, its players and were able to try their luck to win one of the 500 prizes planned for the occasion, including balls, autographed jerseys, and more...
The event ended reached its conclusion on Monday January 17, a day dedicated to Martin Luther King in the United States, with the organization of its first grassroots tournament: the Ligue 1 Uber Eats MLK 5v5 Cup. True to its reputation as a league known for developing talent, Ligue 1 Uber Eats is turning to young people in its international development. The tournament brought together 200 men's and women's teams comprising players aged 8 to 16. To mark the occasion, ESTAC Troyes sent four coaches from their academy who were able to offer their advice to the players and their coaches, select the MVPs of each age category and above all offer a training session dedicated to showcasing French-style training.
