Krashly lands in Gotham

By Sean McCaffery, December 6, 2021

Yes, the famous married duo from the USWNT will now play their home games at what was voted the best soccer venue in the states, Red Bull Arena. They will I am sure to be worth it at an economic level as they gave up a first round pick in the 2022 draft and a 3rd rounder in 2023 to go with $50,000 in allocation money. The 2022 draft pick is from the Red Stars from an earlier transaction.

HC Scott Parkinson told "We're thrilled to welcome Ali & Ashlyn to our Gotham family. They've played and won at the highest level and shown tremendous passion, courage, and leadership on and off the field. They're special players and, more importantly. special people who will make this club better."

They do for sure make the team older, not always a bad thing. Both are still more than very capable and bring attention. Brianna Pinto a younger player with a very high ceiling is now gone, Sheridan the previous GK, did ask to leave, and I am sure this couple with one child did not want to play in different cities. In having interviewed both, shot them at an event at Tag Huer and more, they are both great women. A few years ago as Ali played for the Spirit, she and Long Islander Crystal Dunn were kind enough to sign the crutch of a young player in the stands. Both insisted on returning it to the young woman rather than have me bring it back to her, class. They left the girl in tears, the same happened over and over again at the Tag store.
