One Jamaican international out, a European pedigreed player in for the back line of the team, Englishman Mandela Egbo out of the Crystal Palace Academy and SV Darmstadt 98 of 2.Bundesliga, following a quartet of years in Germany. At just 22, he brings a wealth of experience at so young of an age as the English YNT player was with SC Darmstadt since July, yet he had 6 games, 5 starts to go with a match in the German Cup, garnering an assist.

RBNY SD Denis Hamlett informed "Mandela was identified through our scouting network as an outside back with a great pedigree and  qualities that translate well to our style of play. He's young but has a ton of professional games, and has spent time developing with big clubs in Europe."

HC Chris Armas added "I was able to watch Mandela play in person on my recent trip to Germany and saw first hand his quality and how he will fit into our philosophy. In meeeting him and getting to know him, it's clear that he is a bright, driven young man that will fit well within our culture and our locker room."

Egbo departed his academy for Brossia Monchengladbach II in 2015 at just 17, over 4 years he saw 84 games contributing a trio of goals 5 assists and playing a role over the 31 shutouts. His Bundesliga premiere was in Feb. 2018 with the first side, subbing into a 1-0 win facing Hannover 96.

As an international with England he was with their U-18 last and in 2014 helped the U-17's take the 2014 UEFA European Championship title.
