From Bogota FC in Colombia to the Pacific Northwest, I hope Dajome packed his parka. The 26 year old midfielder and wing player was part of the 2019 Copa Sudamericana while on loan to Edcuadorian Serie A Independiente del Valle in Nov., tying for first place in goals scored for his team in the tourney with 4 goals over 11 games. He has a two year deal with an option for 2022.
While in Ecuador Cristian had 9 goals and 4 assists over 39 games in 2019. In his Colombia, from 2013-'19 he had 207 games and hit for 36 goals overall.
'Caps Sporting Director informed "Cristian fits our profile, he is excited about this new challenge and he really wants to be here in Vancouver. He is an exprienced player, he has played close to 30 games in each of the last 6 seasons."
In the CONMEBOL Sudamericana, the player hit for 4 goals and 2 assists over the 11 games, as he spearheaded Los Negriazules to a rare title, he also had another start in the Copa Ecuador.
Vancouver HC Marco Dos Santos added "Cristian is an explosive winger who can play either side, and can be very dangerous in the final third. We are looking forward to having Cristian join our club."
His history in Colombia includes from July 2015-Dec. 2018 with Categoria Primera A sides, Cucuta Deportivo, Deportes Tolima, Atletico Nacional, Deportivo Pasto & America de Cali. During this time he had 123 games and 18 goals with time in the FIFA Club World Cup, Copa Libertadores & Copa Sudamericana. Cristian has tremendous numbers since cutting his teeth as a pro in 2013, 47 goals over 246 games 197 of which have been starts.
Dajome was acquired with the use of TAM.
