Someone has a sister getting lots of kisses as NYCFC ties again

Three games in a week, 2 wins then an anticlimactic tie with the same side they tied on opening day at Yankee Stadium, now it was 1-1 with Orlando City SC. A pair of adjustments from the last starting XI were Castellanos & Matarrita from Tajouri-Schardi & Ben Sweat. OC came out well as they tried for the early lead and Sands stymied an early change with a great challange on Akindele just at the 8' but that would not last. The next push forward for Saw Nani hit the bottom 90 beating Johnson for the first strike of the game. Heber with his insatiable hunger for a goal kept at it with a pair of shots on goal in the first stanza including a great reactive diving header that was cleared off the line by Rowe as he made the save. Orlando almost doubled the lead in the first half with Akindele putting one home as Callens slipped VAR called it back. Ismael made his mark as his long ball received from Heber was played just beyond the post after beating Rowe who came off his line. Despite their best efforts, NYCFC was behind as the whistle blew, but the fortunes would soon change. Pushing early paid off, as in the 51' Morlalez rocked the post with his well hit shot that an onrushing Hurber struck true. His shot out of the air ripped the net just below the crossbar. NYCFC stayed determined through the end, but fatigue and the stout defense of the visitors prevented any real chances from coming to fruition. The subs of Taty & Mitrita were a hope for instant offense but OC had by far the best of the latter chances. Dwyer missed an open net as his header from a few yards went wide at the back post of an open goal. Over this week they more than doubled their point total in gaining 7 over those 3 games.
