Fire 3 Year Player Brandon Vincent Hangs Up His Cleats

The 4th overall pick in the 2016 MLS Super Draft out of Stanford stated " Today, I announce that, effective at the end of the year, I will be retiring from professional soccer. First and foremost thank you to my family, for the sacrifices you made that no one will know. Finally, to the supporters, a genuine thank you for your loayalty, through our ups and downs."  With 85 games over these 3 short years, he felt it to be " a time in my life where it is best for me to move on from the game."  Netting 3 goals and assisting on another dozen, he had one post season game and 8 in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. An NCAA championship player in leading his Stanford Cardinals, Brandon saw his first MLS action in the season opener with the Fire in 2016, the All-Star game as a rookie facing Arsenal and an International Cap with the USA in Feb of 2016.
