NCFC snatches a pair of College Stars

By Sean McCaffery, March 15, 2018

Cameron Steele and  Graham Smith had been there for the pre season after being at the invite only combine. Smith is out of the U of South Florida as a standout central midfielder from 2014-'16 with 60 games played.  Described by HC Clarke as being one who went to the combine and stood out, asked back to preseason with a great showing and expected to get minutes with a high work rate and great presence taking it all in  as he improves and assisting the team a lot this season. For his part, Smith is energized to be with NCFC this year, glad for the chance and anxious for the start of the season at the center mid, stating I am a diligent player willing to do it all to win. Steele finished at Penn State played with what is now NCFC Youth and the most recent player to pass through their system . His 3 years with their U-23's were very productive and spent time with the first team as a trialist. He played in 23 games getting over 1,000 minutes in College Park.
