NCFC Face USL Power NYRBII for the First Time Ever

By Sean McCaffery, August 20, 2018

On the road again, but for the last of their 3 games away from home, NCFC comes neaby to Montclair where we last saw Lucky and company of Penn FC. The Tues matchup will begin at 7 p.m.

An offensive power house, NYRBII leads the league in shots and goals with 436 and 52 respectively while on the other end they have conceded 42 times over 24 matches. Home cooking has been their favorite as they have been eating up the visitors with a 9-3-1 record and 41 goals over 13 games but the 6-4 loss to Louisville City shows the contrast at both ends. Even with that loss factored in, NYRBII have gotten 6 points over their last 8 matches and still are clearly in the playoff hunt. Brian White, the 2nd leading scorer was just signed to the first team and the forward will now ply his trade at RBA. NYRBII has been on fire with goals at home, netting 4 or more in 7 of their home games.

NCFC also comes in off a loss, 3-2 at the hands of Indy 11 halting a 6 game unbeaten run.
